Scrunchie Care

 

How to properly take care of your scrunchies:

Always make sure to fluff up and undo twists to your scrunchies after each wear. It will help keep up the shape and longevity of your scrunchie.

If your scrunchie starts to smell or not feel soft anymore, make sure to wash them. Depending on how often you use a specific scrunchie, they typically can be washed once a month.

How to wash your scrunchies:

Materials:  Linen, rayon, silk, wool, or similar material scrunchies

  1. Hand wash in cold water.
  2. You can add a few drops of detergent to a sink or bowl full of water.
  3. Gently rub the materials.
  4. Rinse until clean.
  5. Make sure scrunchie is laid out to dry on a towel.
  6. Do not throw it in the dryer, the heat may ruin the material.

Materials:  Cotton, polyester, nylon, or similar material scrunchies

Hand wash

  1. Recommend:  Hand wash warm water.
  2. Use a few drops of detergent.
  3. Gently rub until clean.
  4. Rinse until no more suds.
  5. Lay to dry on towel.
  6. Can be thrown in dryer Low Heat Tumble setting.
Machine wash
  1. Recommend: Throw scrunchies into a mesh washable laundry bag used for delicates. Preferably, do not wash alone, you can wash with your own laundry. Wash with like colors.
  2. Use the gentle cycle, warm wash, cool rinse, lowest spin cycle.
  3. Lay out to dry or use Low Heat Tumble setting until dry.

Materials:  Velvet

  1. Recommend: Dry Clean only
  2. Spot clean only
  3. Fabric may crock

When in doubt, always hand wash cold water and lay to dry.
